Allyship Workshops

How can we move beyond tolerance and best be anti-racist allies in our everyday lives? My transformative workshops are designed to guide us through common challenges and barriers within our allyship development such as what to do when we “mess up,” how to navigate difficult dialogues with loved ones, and strategies for disrupting racism within our spheres of influence.

I tailor each workshop towards the audience whether they be students, faculty, or staff. I utilize a research-based framework to develop my workshops and also provide a space for attendees to practice and work through real-life examples.

Workshops topics offered:

  • Strengthening allyship in everyday lives of students, faculty, staff
  • Best practices for difficult dialogues on race
  • Anti-racist strategies in academia and the workplace
  • Implementing anti-racist pedagogies
  • Navigating White racial identity and privilege

*if topic not mentioned above, it has likely not been developed; however, topics may be expanded on request
